RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Lead a backend engineering team, ensuring efficient collaboration, high performance, and timely delivery.
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs (NestJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices across the team.
Work closely with product managers, frontend/mobile engineers, and other stakeholders to align business and technical goals.
Drive technical decisions on architecture, performance, and scalability.
Support CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment processes to ensure system reliability.
Task on demand by the Line Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Must to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
3+ years of backend development experience with strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, and at least 1 year leading engineering teams in product-based companies.;
Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes).
Good problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Have a personal laptop.
Nice to Have:
Basic familiarity with frontend technologies such as Next.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, and SASS/SCSS.
